Listed below are some of the features of our current Lawn Care Packages, talk to our office to find which one would be suitable for your lawn.
Ph analysis.
We will do a full soil analysis at the beginning of each season to make sure your soil is in the neutral range. If soil amendments are needed we will ensure the lawn is treated before your Spring application is due.
Swing into Spring application
Our program begins in September with an application of a complete fertiliser high in nitrogen to get your lawn out of hibernation from the past winter.
This is the time of year to expect some damage from insects and pests so our technicians will keep a close eye on your lawn for any signs of early damage and inform you if you need a treatment.
Start to Summer application
The next step in our program begins in November with an application of a slow release fertiliser with a complete N.P.K. analysis to give your lawn a constant source of nutrition. Slow release fertilisers allow you to have a great looking lawn without the sudden burst of growth that can happen when you use regular fertilisers.
An application of a pre emergent herbicide will also be applied at this time.
Growth regulator.
An application of a growth regulator at this time will take care of your lawn growing out of control with our regular applications of fertiliser.
A growth regulator slows the pace of leaf growth in your lawn while maintaining the rich green that healthy turf displays.
Late Summer application
The next step in our program is a late summer visit that includes fertilising and any post emergent weed control.
Arrival of Autumn application
This application of fertiliser will be high in Potassium to give your lawn protection going into the winter months. Potassium increases plant cell health and structure, as well as giving the roots a final kick along before the soil temperatures drop, ensuring your lawn is well protected and healthy going into winter.
An application of pre emergent herbicide will also be applied at this time.
Late Autumn
This application consists of another treatment of a high analysis Potassium fertiliser, as well as an application of a broadleaf herbicide to control any late germinating weeds.
Winter
This is the last application for our program, it will consist of an organic based liquid fertiliser to help improve the organic profile in your soil.
